The New Haven and Derby Model Railroad Club, Inc. is happy to announce its upcoming model railroad show. It will be held on Sunday October 10, 2010 (Columbus Day weekend) from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

This is the 18th show the club has sponsored thanks to you exhibitors and our patrons (1,200 annually). The show will again be held at the High Plains Community Center 525 Orange Center Road (route 152) in Orange, CT. It is reachable from exit 56 off the Wilbur Cross Parkway (CT 15), exit 41 off the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95), Derby Avenue (CT 34) and the Boston Post Road (US 1). Signs will be posted at key intersections along the way to assist you.

Table reservations are on a first come first serve basis. Our mailing list has increased so a prompt reply will guarantee you your preferred location. Tables are prohibited in the hallways as you know so NOW will be the best time for you to respond.

Rental cost is $23.00 per 8 ft. table before Tuesday September 14, 2010 (the week after Labor Day) and $30.00 thereafter. This is the 7th consecutive year that the prices for vendors have stayed the same even though our expenses have increased.

The building will open for set up at 7:00am and must be cleared by 5:30pm. After unloading you should move your vehicle to the large field south of the building.

We ask that you stay until the end. A raffle for dealers will be held at 3:00pm as an incentive. The winner must be present and still open for business. The prize will be two free tables for the 2011 show for holders of four or more tables or one free table for holders of fewer than four.
